Nursery and Schools Outreach programme

In Ofsted’s report, ‘The PE and Sport Premium for primary schools’, published in 2014, they state that,‘The government is providing funding to maintained primary schools and academies that is specifically targeted at improving the provision of PE and sport. Their survey highlighted the need for clearer guidance to schools on how best to spend the funding and the importance of good specialist PE knowledge’.

We understand that, for early years, physical development is one of the primary areas of a child's development, and our courses are a fun and exciting way to encourage children aged 3+ years to develop physically, mentally and socially.

Our sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to allow children to progress within a safe environment and familiar surroundings that they recognise.

What we can offer you:

  • Weekly sessions held in the educational premises with all equipment supplied by us

  • Quality coaching with an L.T.A. licenced and insured coach who holds First Aider and enhanced D.B.S disclosure certificates

  • Sessions which compliment and support the E.Y.F.S. framework and school P.E curriculum which, in turn, also add credit to a school's Ofsted reports

  • Courses delivered to enhance a child's control and coordination, improve gross motor skills, communication, and the concepts of taking turns and sharing

  • Option for school staff to shadow one of our coaches, to learn key skills in delivering a tennis session to children. Also, we can observe teachers delivering a session, assist and advise them, and create lesson plans for their future classes

  • First session is FREE!
